Producer John H. "Shrek" Williams and Vanguard Films have acquired rights to the 2005 Slave Labor Graphics comic book series "Emo Boy."
Kyle "Fanboys" Newman will direct the adaptation, featuring music as a key component, from a screenplay by "Emo Boy" creator Stephen Edmond.
