In Paris, circa 1913, struggling fashion designer 'Coco Chanel' (Anna Mouglalis) is devoted to her work and young lover 'Arthur Capel'.
At the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, composer 'Igor Stravinsky' (Mads Mikkelsen) premieres his masterwork "Rite of Spring", with Coco in attendance. But Stravinsky's piece is too radical as an enraged audience jeers and a near-riot ensues.
Seven years later, rich and successful Coco, devastated by Capel’s death, meets up with Stravinsky - now a penniless refugee living in exile in Paris after the Russian Revolution...
