Paramount Pictures has acquired creator Paul Pope's upcoming graphic novel "Battling Boy," with actor Brad Pitt's Plan B production company to produce the adaptation.
Premise focuses on the son of a superhero who comes down from the top of a mountain at his father's request in order to rid a giant city of monsters.The comic book will be published spring 2010 by First Second Books.
Pope is noted for the comics "Heavy Liquid" and "Batman: Year 100".
