"A Game Of Thrones", the fantasy book series by author George R.R. Martin has been greenlit by HBO for a TV pilot.
The script was written by David "Wolverine"Benioff and D.B. Weiss.Former HBO entertainment president Carolyn Strauss will co-executive produce with Guymon Cassidy, Vincent Gerardis and Martin.
Premise of the first film is described as "an epic struggle for power set in a vast and violent fantasy kingdom..."
