"New York Film Academy" Auctioning On eBay...

In response to 'tough economic times', the New York Film Academy is providing 'Intensive Filmmaking and Acting Workshops' on eBay, with opening bids starting at 99 cents.

The course tuition price is normally $2,500.

Workshops are held in New York City and Universal Studios, Los Angeles over an eight-week term from December 1 to January 24.

Winners will have the opportunity to attend one workshop at either New York or Los Angeles.

The New York Film Academy is noted as an intensive hands-on film and acting school devoted to providing focused filmmaking, acting, producing, screenwriting and animation instruction, with workshops offering an intensive, hands-on experience.

The Academy was founded in actor Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Film Center on a belief that a top-quality education in filmmaking should be accessible to anyone with the drive and ambition to make films, holding One-Year, Two-Year Conservatory, MFA and short-term programs.
