Phoenix Pictures is developing a feature based on sci fi author Robert A. Heinlein's novella "The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag," to be written/directed by Alex Proyas of "I, Robot" fame.Phoenix principals Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer and Brad Fischer will produce the adaptation, described as a complex psychological thriller.
Budget will be in the $40 million-$50 million range.
