Universal Recruits Tarantino's "Inglorious Bastards"...

Director Quentin "Kill Bill" Tarantino's upcoming "Inglorious Bastards" has been picked up by Universal Pictures, partnering with the Weinstein Co. to bring the World War II drama to the big screen.

Tarantino has offered the lead part of 'Aldo Raine' to actor Brad "Fight Club" Pitt.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in the fall in Germany and France.

Premise will be similar to "The Dirty Dozen" and "Where Eagles Dare", featuring 'misfit' Allied soldiers having to understake a suicide mission behind enemy lines...
