Director/actress Isabella Rossellini will narrate Canadian director Guy Maddin's silent film "Brand Upon the Brain!" for the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's New Music Festival, this February.The WSO Chamber Ensemble will play the film's score as Rossellini narrates.
Maddin created "Brand Upon the Brain!" as a silent film to be accompanied by a live orchestra/narrator.
Rossellini starred in Maddin's critically acclaimed Canadian feature "The Saddest Music in the World."
