A design conceived by motion picture poster illustrator Drew Struzan and executed by his son, Christian, has been chosen as the official poster of the Academy of Motion Picture of Arts and Sciences' 80th Academy Awards.For more than 30 years, Drew Struzan has created some of the most memorable movie posters, including all six "Star Wars" films and key art for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".
Christian Struzan, with a creative team from XL Laboratories, Inc., designed/produced the poster. The company has also created poster art for "Sweet Home Alabama", "Hellboy", "Sideways" and "Elizabethtown".
With or without the consent of the striking Writers Guild of America (WGA), the 80th Academy Awards still intends to be held Sunday, February 24, 2008, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center...
