Actress Naomi "King Kong" Watts will star in a Universal Pictures remake of director Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds".The studio owns rights to author Daphne du Maurier's short story, adapted for the original 1963 film.
Michael "Transformers" Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller will produce for Platinum Dunes and Peter "Batman" Guber, Cathy Schulman will produce for Mandalay Pictures. David Zelon, Jonathan Krauss will supervise for Mandalay and Scott Bernstein will oversee for Universal.
