A book of cryptic prophecies has reportedly been discovered at the National Library in Rome with evidence to suggest it is the work of Nostradamus.

A brand-new 2-hour TV special examines the life’s work of Nostradamus and the evidence of this startling discovery in "Lost Book Of Nostradamus", premiering Sunday, October 28th at 9:00pm ET/PT on The History Channel.

Born in 1503 in Saint Remy de Provence, France, Nostradamus lived most of his adult life in Salon de Provence, until his death in 1566. He began his career as a prophet after he wrote the first of his many almanacs, published annually beginning in 1550. He soon became seer to the queen of France, Catherine de Medici, wife of King Henri II, in a relationship that would launch him to fame.

Nostradamus’ interpreted predictions about natural disasters and political world events, have drawn attention centuries after his death. Some see a startling pattern of connection to modern events in his words and drawings...

"Lost Book Of Nostradamus" is produced by 1080 Inc. for History Channel Executive Producer Carl Lindahl.
