Universal and Imagine Entertainment will remake the 1970, Canadian-shot, sci-fi feature "Colossus: The Forbin Project" as a directing vehicle for Ron Howard. Imagine partner Brian Grazer will produce.Jason Rothenberg will write the "Colossus" screenplay.
Based on a book by author D.F. Jones, the original film, starring actors Gordon Pinsent and Susan Clark, introduced the idea of a sentient, government-built computer that eventually assumes complete control.
