Actress Minnie Driver will voice the lead in "Re\Visioned: Tomb Raider", a new animated series from GameTap, Turner Broadcasting’s broadband network.The first episode of the 10-part series premieres July 10 at gametap.com/tombraider
"World-famous writers and artists are each doing their own version of Lara Croft, telling a different story the way they see the character," said Ricardo Sanchez, vp of content, GameTap.
"Everybody had either played the game, seen the movies or read the comics, and all had great preconceptions about the character that they wanted to explore..."
The first three-parts are written/directed by Peter "Aeon Flux" Chung.
Other comic book talents working on the series will include Warren Ellis, Gail Simone, Jim Lee and Christos Gage.
