Sir Ridley Directing "Monopoly"

Sir Ridley "Blade Runner" Scott has been asked to direct a feature-length version of the board game "Monopoly".

Scott has been offered his pick of actors from William Morris, the oldest theatrical agency in Hollywood through an arrangement with Hasbro, owners of Parker Brothers, the manufacturer of the Monopoly game in the US.

Both Scarlett Johansson and Kirsten Dunst are being considered for roles.

Hasbro said that Monopoly has been played by 750 million people since the 1930's.
