July 9 Toronto Start For "The Incredible Hulk"

According to Marvel Studios topper Kevin Feige, "The Incredible Hulk" will start Toronto production July 9th, starring Tim Roth, Edward Norton and recent cast addition William "Altered States" Hurt.

As for other upcoming Marvel Comic book properties becoming films, Feige said he has David Self writing "Captain America", Mark Protosevich is writing "Thor", and Jonathan Mostow is doing a re-write on "Sub-Mariner" with the intention to direct.

Lion's Gate is currently putting together "Punisher 2".

Feige said Marvel Studios now controls all of their film properties.

"What prevented certain characters from crossing over in the past was that they were all divided up between different studios with big giant gates in between them and they couldn't play in the same sandbox," he said.

"But now that we have 'Hulk' and 'Thor' and 'Cap' and 'Iron Man' apparently would indicate to me that it might be fun to all see them in the same sandbox at some point."

Feige said that following "The Incredible Hulk", the next big film will be "Captain America".
