May 1997, "SPAWN: The Animated Series", starring actor Keith "Platoon" David made its TV debut on HBO. The series played until May 1999, spanning 18 episodes and winning two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Acievement in Animation.
In celebration of the "SPAWN" 10th anniversary, the entire series has been digitally re-mastered with colour enhancement and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, including episode storyboards, an interview with Canadian "Spawn"-creator Todd McFarlane, behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentaries and character profiles."Spawn: The 10th Anniversary Edition" is due for release July 24.
