Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Gore Verbinski and screenwriters Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott are reportedly planning on bringing back "The Lone Ranger" as a feature film franchise.The last film featuring the Old West radio/TV/comic book hero was 1981's "The Legend of the Lone Ranger".
Rossio and Elliott previously resurrected "Zorro".
"The Lone Ranger" has been in-development at Red Wagon Entertainment with David Webb "Unforgiven" Peoples and Janet Peoples writing the screenplay.
