Development continues on a big screen adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic book series "The Losers" for Warner Brothers.Written by Andy Diggle and drawn by Jock, the updated series was based on a DC comic book team of soldiers during WWII.
The update featured a squad of special forces soldiers who declare war on the CIA after their Agency handler tries to assassinate them.The new group consisted of 'Clay', the leader, referred to as 'the Colonel', 'Roque, second-in-command, motivated solely by money, 'Jensen', the hacker, 'Cougar', the sniper, 'Pooch', the pilot, and 'Aisha', reconnaissance.
Other characters include 'Max', wielding extensive influence over various governmental and military institutions and 'Marvin Stegler', veteran CIA man, relegated to desk work.
