From Buds To "Big Brothers"

"Big Brothers" is an upcoming feature set to shoot in Los Angeles this May. Starring Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd, producers are Scott Stuber, Mary Parent, Luke Greenfield and Matthew Seigel. Director is Luke Greenfield from a screenplay by W. Blake Herron and Timothy Dowling.

Premise of the film, focuses on 'Danny' and 'Wheeler', a pair of perpetually adolescent, 30 year old bachelors who work as salesmen for beer company Budweiser, allowing them to live as aging frat boys. But when one of their romps backfires and they're court-mandated to do community service, Danny and Wheeler sign up to be 'Big Brothers' to 'Augie' and 'Lewis'.

Producers are still casting:

'Kate':

24-28. Sharp, witty, and intelligent, she is the older sister of the young boy, 'AUGIE', to whom 'DANNY' has been a Big Brother. Kate is a real challenge to Danny, as she see won't let him get away with anything. She's a woman compared to the girls Danny has been chasing, but has put her life on hold to keep herself and Augie afloat.

MUST BE ABLE TO GO TOE-TO-TOE COMEDICALLY with Paul Rudd. This is a lead part.

'Ronny':

10-14, Male, No taller than 5'5", any ethnicity. Fast-talking and outspoken to an extreme, Ronny is a foul-mouthed RATED R character. He rebels against all authority, and is deliberately inappropriate in any social situation, a troublemaker who masks his pain by behaving larger than life. It's easy to forget that this twelve year-old is just a kid. Think Chris Tucker or Chris Rock (of any ethnicity) at 10-12 years old. Note: This is a LEAD ROLE that will be using EXPLICIT PROFANITY.
