The feature-length "Sex and the City" movie is back on with the TV cast coming back to reprise their original character roles, according to series producer Darren Star.The "Sex and the City" series was based on the novel of the same name by author Candy Bushnell.
Broadcast over HBO 1998-2004, "Sex and the City" is set in New York City, following the lives and loves of four female best friends. The sitcom/soap opera tackled socially relevant issues including the status of women in society.
Filmed at New York City's Silvercup Studios and on location in Manhattan, "Sex and the City" is currently in wide syndication.
