When Andy Met Edie, Life Imitated Art

'Edie Sedgwick' appeared to be the quintessential American princess, with her blue blood, trust fund, Harvard education and ethereal beauty.

Arriving into the chaos of mid-60's New York, she met artist Andy Warhol who
invited her into the world of 'The Factory', a former downtown hat factory transformed into a bohemian paradise, where musicians, poets, artists, actors and misfits gathered to create avant-garde movies during the day and get stoned and have sex all night.

Edie ascends to become the star of Warhol’s movies, an idol at The Factory and a media darling, falling in love with a larger-than-life musician.

But when she becomes caught between Warhol’s world and her new love, she winds up being rejected by both.
