Kubrick Movie Is A "Lunatic At Large"

Uncovering a treatment for an unproduced Stanley Kubrick film project titled "Lunatic At Large", the son-in-law of the late director has developed the property into a screenplay by Stephen R. Clarke.

Kubrick originally intended directing "Lunatic At Large", based on a treatment he commissioned from pulp novelist Jim Thompson.

The dark thriller focuses on the mysterious identity of an escapee from a mental hospital.

Among many characters inhabiting the story are 'Johnnie Sheppard', an ex-carnival worker with anger issues.
