Martini Madness Celebrates Another Year of VIFF Excitement

The Women in Film and Video Vancouver (WIFVV) Martini Madness event is back again this year, with a film industry party preceding the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Celebrities, 1022 Davie St., Vancouver.

This is the party that unofficially opens VIFF, with over 1,000 attendees including WIFVV members, local, national/international filmmakers, industry executives, VIFF delegates, media and film fans.

Promoters promise this event will be "the biggest and best 'Hollywood North' party of the year".

"Martini Madness is going to be another great Women in Film event"," said WIFVV President/Social Committee chair, Sophie McGarry .
"We’ll also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a weekend for two at the Westin Grand Hotel, passes to the Whistler Film Festival, equipment from Paladin Show Services, truck rentals from Penske Trucks and more!"

Tickets are available at Women In Film $30 advance or $35 at the door.

Women in Film & Video Vancouver is a non-profit society of professional women founded to support, advance, promote and celebrate the professional development/achievements of women involved in the British Columbia Film, Video and Television Industry.
