HBO Orders Up More "Entourage"

HBO has committed to a fourth season of "Entourage", ordering up 12 more episodes.

The renewal of the fast-lane Hollywood insider TV series about drugs, sex and rock 'n roll comes halfway through the show's third season.

"Entourage is a standout hit for HBO," said the network's entertainment president, Carolyn Strauss.

"Thanks to a terrific cast and razor-sharp writing and directing, this smart, funny show has become a genuine phenomenon."

Produced/inspired by the real life adventures of singer/actor "Markie" Mark Wahlberg, "Entourage" stars actors Adrian Grenier as 'Vince Chase', a multi-million dollar Hollywood heartthrob and Kevin "Platoon" Dillon (actor Matt Dillon's real-life brother) as actor 'Johnny Drama', leader of Vince's entourage of friends.

Actor Jeremy "The Gary Shandling Show" Piven recently won a TV Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for his portrayal of "Entourage" talent agent 'Ari Gold'.

The fourth season of "Entourage" will air in 2007.
