The Vancouver-shot "Blade: The Series" completes its first Spike TV season, September 13 with the episode "Conclave", featuring a 'conclave of the vampire houses':
Executive producer of the series is David Goyer.
"I had to go through extensive martial arts training, kickboxing, trapped hands and wire work," said Kirk "Sticky" Jones, who plays the Marvel Comics human/vampire superhero.
"Before that it was mostly boxing, but that's the foundation of all fighting. Plus, I'm a natural athlete by heart, so it was real easy."
