Paramount Has A Stake in "Damn Nation" ...

Andrew Cosby, creator of UPN's "Haunted" and the Sci-Fi Network's Vancouver-filmed series "Eureka" said that his Dark Horse comic book series "Damned Nation" is currently being developed as a major motion picture at Paramount.

Premise of the stories feature the US shut off from the world by concrete barricades and barbed wire, not because of what might get in, but what might get out, as a vampire plague spreads from coast to coast.

When a small holdout of scientists trapped outside of Buffalo discover a cure, it's up to a 'Special Ops' team from the President's offices in London UK, to go into the US and get it.

The painted cover by Eisner Award-nominee J. Alexander, earned the first comic book issue of "Damn Nation" 'Cover of the Month' by Wizard Magazine.

According to Dark Horse, writer "Cosby has crafted a vampire thriller with surprises under every manhole cover and the dark truth that not all monsters fear the sunlight..."
