Can Schwarzenegger Cut It As "King Conan" ?

SNEAK PEEK

According to The Arnold Fans, California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger may be returning to the role of 'Conan the Barbarian', as Warners continues to develop the third chapter in the "Conan" feature film franchise, "King Conan".

"...Jeff Robinov (President of Warner Bros. Films) is definitely hoping that Arnold loses the race for a 2nd term as governor," says the site, "so he can make his place back into feature films with "King Conan".

Schwarzenegger could receive a $30 million payday for reprising the Conan character he played in 2 films.

The story would revolve around an older, wiser, more diplomatic 'King' Conan, who secretly craves the adventures of his youth, training his son to follow in his footsteps.

"The film might not even be called "King Conan" anymore, and instead go back to "Conan the Conqueror," said the site.

"If Arnold loses the next term, Warner Bros wants the new Conan epic shooting on a gruelling gorilla schedule, around the clock, starting March 2007 for a December 2007 release date."
