“Metal Gear Solid” Movie

The developing Sony feature "Metal Gear Solid", based on the Konami  'stealth' video game created by Hideo Kojima, is officially in the works, with directing duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein now attached to the adaptation of the project.

"...in 'Metal Gear Solid', 'Solid Snake' is a soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons facility to neutralize a terrorist threat from the 'FOXHOUND' renegade special forces unit.

"Snake must liberate hostages, the head of 'DARPA' and the president of a major arms manufacturer...

...while confronting the terrorists...

"...and stopping them from launching a nuclear strike.

As a sequel to the video games "Metal Gear" and "Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake"...

...the game has also spawned numerous prequels and spin-offs, including several games, a radio drama, comics and novels.
