More "Guardians Of The Galaxy" Action Figures

Sneak Peek a close-up look @ Hasbro's "Guardians Of The Galaxy" action figures, featuring 'Gamora, 'Star-Lord', 'Rocket Raccoon', 'Drax The Destroyer' and 'Groot'.

"...in the wake of the devastation left by the 'Annihilation War', the galaxy was unprotected.

"In a forgotten place at the edge of the universe, a group of heroes came together, determined to fill that void.

"From their base in deep space, the 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' protect the cosmos from threats both large and small..."

Inspired by the Beatles song "Rocky Raccoon", Marvel Comics 'Rocket Raccoon', was created by writer Bill Mantlo and illustratorKeith Giffen, debuting in "Marvel Preview" #7 (1976) as an intelligent, anthropomorphic raccoon.

Rocket is an expert marksman and master tactician, possessing normal attributes of an Earth raccoon, including speed, acute sense of smell, sight, hearing and touch.

In 1985, Rocket Raccoon received his own four-issue limited series, penciled by Mike Mignola and inked by Al Gordon/Al Milgrom.

Those back-issues are currently in high demand.

Rocket then appeared in a 1990 issue of "Quasar" (#15) and three issues of "She-Hulk" in 1992 (#44-46) as a prisoner on a 'Skrull' ship, before becoming a regular member of "Guardians Of The Galaxy" in 2008.
