"The Last Days Of American Crime"


According to internet reports, the upcoming Radical Publishing graphic novel film adaptation, "The Last Days Of American Crime" will be directed by Anthony Mandler.


The action thriller will be based on the series by writer Rick Remender and illustrator Greg Tocchini.

Screenplay is by Karl Gadejsak, with attached actor Sam Worthington ("Avatar") and his Full Clip Productions label producing alongside Automatik. Producers are Michael Schwarz of Full Clip Productions with Radical's Levine and Berger. Executive Producers will be IM Global's Ford, Worthington and Automatik's Brian Kavanaugh-Jones :

"...'The Last Days of American Crime' is a hard-boiled heist film set in the very near future where the government plans to implement a form of legal mind control, making it impossible for its citizens to commit unlawful acts.

Cronenberg's "Knife Man" Makes The Cut

David Cronenberg will team with Media Rights Capital to direct the TV pilot "Knife Man", based on the biography "The Knife Man" by author Wendy Moore, about self-educated, 18th Century surgeon, John Hunter.

Cronenberg will also executive produce from a script by Rolin Jones ("Friday Night Lights"), alongside executive producers Jones, Sam Raimi, Josh Donen and Robert Zotnowski..

The real 'Dr. Hunter' counted among his patients, Benjamin Franklin, Lord Byron, Adam Smith and Thomas Gainsborough.

"Red Hood And The Outlaws"

DC Comics' "Red Hood And The Outlaws" #10, available June 20, 2012, is written by Scott Lobdell and illustrated by Kenneth Rocafort and Ario Anindito, with a cover by Rocafort :
