USA Network has ordered the 'high school cheerleader' scripted drama "Dare Me", based on the novel by Megan Abbott:
"...'Dare Me' dives into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading in a small Midwestern town through the eyes of two best friends after a new coach arrives to bring their team to prominence..."
Abbott will adapt her novel and executive produce with Gina Fattore, Peter Berg, Michael Lombardo, Sarah Condon and Karen Rosenfelt.
