Confirmed guests attending the 2012 "Fan Expo Canada", @ the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, August 23-26, celebrating comic books, animation, science fiction and video gaming, will include actors Rose McGowan ("Charmed"), Gillian Anderson and William B. Davis ("The X-Files").
Screenwriter David Hayter ("Watchmen") will also attend with director John Carpenter ("The Thing") and more confirmed actors including Chris Sarandon ("The Night Before Christmas"), Kate Mulgrew ("Star Trek Voyager"), Joe Flanigan ("Stargate Atlantis"), Amanda Tapping ("Stargate"), Lou Ferrigno ("The Incredible Hulk"), John Barrowman ("Doctor Who"), Alan Tudyk ("Firefly"), David Prowse ("Star Wars"), Sean Patrick Flannery ("The Boondock Saints") and Christopher Lloyd ("Back to The Future").
With more than 80,000 fans expected and 700 exhibitors/retail vendors covering over 400,000 square feet, the event will also present a special 'Masquerade Ball', the official 'Back To The Future' Time Machine and a live "Halo 4" Sneak Peek.
Also returning this year is "Fan Expo Speed Dating", Celebrity Autograph/Photo Sessions, and 'Cosplay' players of every shape and description.
Marvel Comics' creator Stan Lee ("Spider-Man") returns to the "Comic Book Expo" lineup, along with legendary DC Comics' illustrator Neal Adams ("Deadman", "Green Lantern"), illustrator Yanick Paquette ("Swamp Thing") and illustrator Steve McNiven ("Wolverine").
Guests in the world of video gaming will include Shawn Baichoo ("Assassin's Creed"), Michelle Boback ("Deus Ex: Human Revolution"), Amber Goldfarb ("Brotherhood"), Paula Jean Hixson ("Deus Ex: Human Revolution"), Michael Mando ("Far Cry 3"), Neil Napier ("The Assassin's Creed"), John Stocker ("Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory"), Elias Toufexis ("Assassin’s Creed") and the cast/creators of the "Halo" web series "Red Vs Blue".
More guests will be announced leading up to August 23.
